Chinese Bur Weed or In Sinhalese called 'Apala"z is a flowering plant belong to family Tiliaceae. It is native plant to Sri Lanka also India and many other Asian countries. The plant consider as a weed and commonly found on woodland, wasteland or road sideways in low countries wet zone in Sri Lanka. Chinese Bur Weed is closely related to Urena sinuata plant that also called 'Apala' in Sinhalese.
