Purple Heart Glory or Thal Kola is a small vine belong to Morning glory family native to Sri Lanka and India. The plant is commonly found among forest borders, waste land, grass land in the dry zone in Sri Lanka. Sometime, rarely found in wet zone. It is use as a leaf vegetable and also use in Ayurveda system as a herbs.The vine mostly grows along the ground and blooms beautiful white-purple flowers. The flowers are fade away before the sunrise called "Morning glory".
