Chinese Lantern plant also called Red-Vein Abutilon Flower is a perennial plant in mallow family native to the South Asia and now naturalized in Sri Lanka as a garden ornamental plant. It is consider as one of the plant in Abutilon Hybridum Group. Leaves are palmate in shape, symmetrical teeth on the edges and orange-yellow color Flowers are half- bloom half-pendulous. The red vain appears on the petals. Small woody tree grows about up to 10 feet in height. The plant is closely related to hybrid of Abutilon falcatum, Abutilon theophrasti plants All these plants are called as Plants of Abutilon Hybridum Group
