Yellow Chinese Lantern plant also called Flowering Maple Abutilon is a perennial plant in mallow family native to the Eastern Asia and now naturalized in Sri Lanka as a garden ornamental plant. It is most popular plant of the Abutilon Hybridum Group. Leaves are palmate in shape, symmetrical teeth on the edges and Yellow color Flowers are half- bloom half-pendulous. Small woody tree grows about up to 10 feet in height. The plant is closely related to hybrid of Abutilon falcatum, Abutilon darwinii plants. All these plants are called as Plants of Abutilon Hybridum Group
