Combretum constrictum or Powderpuff Combretum is a wild flowering plant native to tropical Africa and introduced plant to Sri Lanka as a ornamental plant. Combretum is a deciduous plant sometimes grow as a shrub or small tree about 2 or 4 meters in height. The plant is popular for ornamental that flowers with bright red petals and long stamens like Rambutan Fruit. The plant can be found on home gardens and grows well in all part of Sri Lanka.
