Dianthus chinensis commonly known as Carnation is a species of flowering plants in the family Caryophyllaceae. It is native to Korea and china. It is introduced to Sri Lanka as a ornamental plant. Because it's hybridization characters thousands of carnation hybrids have been bred and popular for home gardens or flora industries.
