Artanema longifolium flowers - Gas Kotala
Artanema longifolium is a small woody perennial plant, native to Sri Lanka, India and some Asian countries. It is called in Sinhalese as "Gas Kotala" and commonly found on wasteland near to water bodies in wet and dry climate regions in Sri Lanka. The plant blooms beautiful purple flowers that related to Foxglove flowers. The plants grow as weed and sometime may be invasive. Also, It is rarely use in Ayurveda medicine.
