Indian Catmint or Anisomeles indica is a species of Lamiaceae family native to India and Sri Lanka. It is a herbaceous annual plant grow up to 1 or 2 meter height. Commonly found as a weed throughout the country on scrub jungles waste lands or road sideways. It is a important medicinal plant of the Ayurveda Medicine of Snake Bite and called in Sinhalese as "Yak Wa Nassa"
