Zebra Cactus or Haworthia fasciata is a succulent plant Native to South Africa and introduced plant to Sri Lanka as a ornamental foliage plant. It has white dots on the edge of leaves and white horizontal strips out side of the leaves like on Zebras. Fleshy leaves packed densely in circular arrangement. Bloom small pale yellow-white flowers on a long stem and leaves are poisonous if eaten.
It is rarely found on Sri Lanka home gardens because these plants grow on high altitudes that need cool weather condition.
