Pink Cosmos, also called as "Garden Cosmos" plant is a small herbaceous plant native to mexico and America and  introduced plant to Sri Lanka. It is a popular garden plant in Sri Lanka that can grow in any region of the country with any climate. The flowers are dense bloom when the sunny weather with low rainfall. Because of Lateral branch arise from close to the ground level to over the shrub, will make a beautiful inflorescence. Easy and common methods of propagating the Cosmos is by seed that collecting from the dried flowers.
Cosmos flowers are closely related to the Marigold flowers.
