Indian Acalypha plant is a flowering plant that native to Sri Lanka, India and Africa.Now naturalized in Many countries in the world as a herbal plant or as a weed. It is commonly found throughout Wet zone or dry Zone places like road sideways, grass lands,back yards,  and gardens. In Sri Lanka,    plant use as a herbs in Ayurveda and can be use as mix leaf vegetable.
Indian Acalypha, also known as Cat Plant, got it name that Cats are very attract to the odor of Acalypha plant's roots
