Crown Flower is a Evergreen, semi-deciduous flowering plant that native to India and Sri Lanka. Also native to Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and and several other Asian countries and naturalized to South American Continent . It is use as a herb in Ayurveda medicine in Sri Lanka. Also other countries used the plant as a herb but not only use for the herb in some countries that they used in ornamental and industrial purposes. The plant can be found in wet-zone or dry-zone in Sri Lanka as a weed in wild, or disturbed urban lots such as along road sideways, back yards as well as border of paddy fields and abandoned croplands.
