Origin | Vernonia or Little Iron weed is a common herbs in Sri Lanka mostly found in wetland as a common weed..It is a annual herbaceous plant native to Sri Lanka and India, also now naturalized in several southern Pacific Countries. Whole plant are used for medicinal remedies in Sinhalese Ayurveda system. and additionally, Leaves and stems are edible and normally use as a leaf vegetable or Herbal Soup ("Kola Kanda" food drink) | ||
