Bunchosia - Peanut butter Plant

Bunchosia armeniaca, or Peanut butter fruit  is a newly introduced flowering plants from it's autochthonous countries which  are South American continent countries, specially from Brazil.

Bunchosia armeniaca is fast growing small evergreen tree  about 3 or 4 meters tall hotly naturalizes  in home gardens throughout  Sri Lanka  as a herb or and a ornamental plant. Although fruits  are edible and used for a medicament, there are no any records found that about  tree has Ayurveda medicinal properties.
