Description
OriginNative to Sri Lanka India and other Asian countries, and several African countries. In Sri Lanka. used as a herb in Ayurveda. Although it is consider as a weed but not a invasive plant. Some countries cultivate for animal feeds but not  in Sri lanka.
IdentificationOne-leaf clove is a evergreen perennial herbaceous plant that naturally found on road sideways grasslands and borders of paddy Fields. Leaves are green, obtuse shape and stems are grow like straight line on the ground.The plant closely related to the Desmodium heterocarpon or Desmodium tryflorum (Udupiyaliya or Ath Udupiyaliya)
