Sunflower is a Beautiful annual shrub that native to Mexico. It is naturalizes throughout Sri Lanka as well as the world. The plant mostly cultivated in Sri Lanka for edible oil and some industrial applications which are produced by seeds. Also grown on home gardens as a ornamental. The Sunflower is one of the popular flowers of the world and got it name "Sun flower " because flowers follow up the Moving of Sun.
