Tephrosin purpurea, common name Wild Indigo plant is a native plant to Sri Lanka can be found in low country in Sri Lanka mostly in dry zone. It is often found in road sideways ,borders of tank, scrub jungle or border of large forest in dry zone. It is a herbal plant use in Ayurveda. Also, it is a poison plant use as a fish poison.
