Stinging Nettle is a climbing vine, native to Sri Lanka and it is a medicinal plant in Ayurveda. The plant has stinging hairs that irritation, itching or burning upon contact with skin. The plant is consider as weed and rarely seen on scrub jungle or forest margin or in wild mostly in low country. Distribution of the Climbing Nettle plan is low but remain the growth for 25 years or more in same area or place if not control well.
