Euphorbia milii, also known as common name "Crown of Thorns" is a flowering plants in spurge family, introduced to Sri Lanka as ornamental plant from Middle east countries. It is a popular ornamental plant can be found on home gardens throughout the country. The plant has many hybrid varieties and all are poisoned specially to the animal.
