Murraya koenigii is a tropical plant in the Murraya genus, family Rutaceae which is popular as "Curry Leaves" native to Sri Lanka and India. It is mostly cultivate in home gardens and also found in Wild in dry zone in Sri Lanka. Because its delicate flavor popular in food preparations widely in Asian countries. It also important herb in Ayurveda medicine that used in snake bite and leaves and roots are peppered as a soup which is called "Karapincha Kenda" for the treatment of various diseases.
