Wild Snake Root - Sarpa Gandha

Wal Ekaweriya,  also known as Sarpa gandha  is a Native plant to America and naturalize to Asian countries including India and  Sri Lanka. The plant use in Ayurveda as a herbs is little in Sri Lanka and can be found rarely  in dry zone and wet zone. Some people are confuse and misuse  with  "Ekaweriya" ( Rauvolfia serpentina ) that plant of the same genus.
