Iramusu or Indian Sarsaparilla is a small plant, native to Sri Lanka and India that grows  naturally on wood lands, scrubs, grassland, and land borders. All part of the plant that including roots are used in Ayurveda and also used  in make a Iramusu Kanda which is one of the healthy beverages or Herble Soup called "Kolakanda" in Sinhalese.
