Bur Mallow Weed - Apala

Apala or Urena weed is a small shrub or small woody tree native to South Asian countries. 1 or 2 meters tall tree can be found on road sideways, wood lands scrubs, land borders or  anywhere in wet zone or dry zone in Sri Lanka as a invasive weed. Plant blooms 1 or 2 cm wide pink flower ( like Hibiscus ) in the morning and wilt fully before the Noon. Little use in Ayurveda and plant is closely related to Urena lobata plant
