Sandpaper flowers - Petrea Vine

Sandpaper vine or Petrea flowering plant is native plant to Mexico and  America and  introduced to Sri Lanka for ornamentation. Leaves of the plant are rough as sandpaper so called sand paper vine and flowers are  blue to purple in colors, compound raceme  drops to bottom and flowers (sepals) are become various color when it does mature.
