Centella erecta or American Coin-wort is a perennial evergreen plant introduced  from America. It is a popular leaf vegetable can be found throughout Sri Lanka as a cultivated plant in Home gardens. Sometime used in Ayurveda and it is closely related to the Centella asiatica plant.
